The new construction project for the Uferweg housing estate in Burgdorf BE was developed by Previs Vorsorge in cooperation with the town of Burgdorf: 176 new apartments in various sizes are planned on Uferweg. These will replace a family housing estate built in the 1950s, whose structural condition is outdated. The floor plans and comfort of the apartments no longer meet today's living standards. A comprehensive refurbishment of the 133 apartments would not be able to remedy the structural deficits of the building fabric.
In the first phase of the project, furrerhugi was responsible for the communication and especially for the implementation of a broad participation with stakeholders from the neighborhood, politics and professional associations. The tenants of the current housing estate were regularly informed about the status of the planning.
