The site development "Quartierstadt Wankdorf" is an important project that will shape the northern quarter of the city of Bern. The neighborhood population as well as affected organizations should therefore be invited to participate in this planning project. The almost 50'000 m² large area is located between the SBB tracks, the Wankdorffeldstrasse and the Stauffacherstrasse. Due to the immediate proximity to the Wankdorf train station, there is significant development potential here. Today, the site is mainly used for commercial and industrial purposes.
furrerhugi is providing communications support for the project – including the task of integrating all stakeholders into the communication process in a timely manner and at the appropriate level. Interaction is central: through continuous dialogue, stakeholders are to be informed transparently about the planning process and important milestones. To this end, furrerhugi implements numerous online and offline communication measures ranging from the website to media relations, participatory workshop discussions and public information events, project documentation and much more.
