The Pension Fund Schaffhausen (PKSH) owns a housing estate consisting of seven buildings at Lerchenweg 10-40 in Kloten. The 3-story buildings were built in the 1950s and were last renovated in 1998. Soon, the components will reach the end of their life cycle. The PKSH has decided to replace the properties with a new development. Renovation of the existing buildings is not an option for the owners for financial and environmental reasons. In addition, a replacement building offers the possibility to create a denser development on the existing site than the current one, thus contributing to reducing the shortage of housing in Kloten.
furrerhugi has created a communication concept for the project and accompanied first measures such as the initial communication with tenants, political parties in the city of Kloten and the local media.
