The parliamentary and business initiative “ePower” was founded in 2005 by leading political figures and ICT industry representatives. furrerhugi has been managing the organisation’s operations since it was founded. The ePower initiative aims to improve the exploitation of the potential offered by information and communication technologies in the interests of successful digitalization in Switzerland.
ePower mediates between business, politics, administration and science and lobbies in particular in the political arena to promote Switzerland as a strong ICT location. The furrerhugi team monitors all the parliamentary initiatives of the Federation and cantons, networks industry and politics (stakeholder management) and represents the interests of the sector in parliamentary legislative projects.
