Samuel Waldis has been with furrerhugi since 2025. His focus is on media relations, storytelling, and writing. Before joining the agency, he worked as a journalist for 13 years, most recently at Tamedia. The Zurich native is familiar with the world of federal administration (project manager at the Federal Statistical Office) and academia (research assistant at the Universities of Basel and Zurich and project manager at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland). He also spent some time as a mountain hut warden in Domleschg. His geography studies at the University of Lausanne gave him a generalist approach to all kinds of topics and taught him French.
In his private life, he prefers mountain huts to beach chairs and enjoys sitting around a fire with his two children just as much as sitting around a table with friends.
