Sofia Nicoli holds an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen, with a focus on Security and Conflict, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Law. Her strong academic foundation is complemented by a broad range of professional experiences. She gained diverse and dynamic insights at the Swiss Embassy in Berlin, at Interface – Competence Centre for Evaluation in Lucerne, and as a Project Manager at politik.ch in Zurich. At furrerhugi, she focuses on Public Affairs and Corporate Communications.
Having grown up in Italian-speaking Switzerland and now living in Lucerne, Sofia Nicoli brings a rich blend of linguistic and cultural perspectives. In addition to her native Italian, she speaks fluent German, French and English – an ideal skill set for acting as a communicative bridge across regions.
Sofia Nicoli finds balance in her everyday working life in nature, hiking and skiing in the Swiss Alps, or playing volleyball. She loves being wherever the sun is shining, good music is playing, and delicious food is being shared.
